Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal data when you use made.slowly.studio (the “Site”).

1. Introduction

We collect as little personal data as we need to run the Site and deliver your purchases. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

2. Data controller

The Site is operated by Slowly Studio, which is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record, is an independent controller for the payment and billing data it processes.

3. Data we collect

Account data: your name, email address and profile picture, received from Google when you sign in. Order data: the Pieces you buy, the option, the order date and Paddle’s order number; we never receive your card details. Technical data: error reports containing the error, the page, your browser version and, if you are signed in, your account email. Analytics data, described in section 5.

4. How we use your data

We use personal data to provide your account and deliver your purchases (performance of a contract); to keep the Site secure, prevent abuse and fix errors (our legitimate interests); to understand how the Site is used in aggregate (our legitimate interests); and to meet legal obligations such as record keeping.

5. Analytics

We measure visits with our own privacy-preserving analytics. We do not use third-party trackers and do not store IP addresses. A visit is counted with an anonymous identifier that changes every day, so visits cannot be linked across days or across websites. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” signal, your visits are not counted.

6. Cookies

We do not use cookies for analytics or advertising. Your browser stores your sign-in session so that you remain signed in. Paddle may use cookies necessary to process payments during checkout.

7. Sharing and processors

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the Site, and only as necessary: Google (authentication), Paddle (payments and invoicing), and our database and hosting providers. We may disclose data where required by law.

8. International transfers

Our providers may process data in other countries. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.

9. Retention

Account and order records are kept for as long as your account exists and as long as required by law. Error reports are deleted after 30 days. Analytics are retained only as anonymous aggregates.

10. Security

We protect personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact hello@slowly.studio. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

12. Children

The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version takes effect when published on this page, with the effective date shown above.

14. Contact

For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact hello@slowly.studio. See also our Terms of Service.
